Voter Registration Form and General Information
THE 2025-2026 BUDGET VOTE & SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 20, 2025.
Voting hours are from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Voters living South of Sunrise Highway vote in the BoardRoom of the Administration Bldg. at 10 Farmingdale Road, West Babylon. Voters living North of Sunrise Highway vote in Santapogue School at 1130 Herzel Blvd., West Babylon.
Requirements to vote:
- At least 18 years old
- Cannot be an incarcerated felon
- Cannot claim the right to vote elsewhere

The established deadline for candidacy submissions for the Board of Education has elapsed.

Students may pre-register to vote at the ages of 16 or 17 but cannot vote until they are the age of 18. Visit the following link to the NYS Voter Registration Form:

Registered voters may request an application for an absentee ballot in advance of the election if they are unable to vote in person for any of the following reasons:
- Absence from county on election day
- Temporary illness or physical disability
- Permanent illness or physical disability
- Duties related to primary care of on or more individuals who are ill or physically disabled

Registered voters who wish to vote early may participate in the new early mail voting. Applications for early mail ballots may be obtained through the Office of the District Clerk or by clicking the appropriate link below. Applications can be submitted up to 30 days before the vote. Application for Early Mail Ballot - English
Voters can complete and file an application for an absentee/early mail ballot. If the ballot is to be mailed to the voter, the application must be received by the District Clerk no later than 7 days prior to the vote- May 13th. The ballot must then be mailed to the voter no later than 6 days prior to the vote. If the application seeks the personal delivery of the ballot to the voter or designated agent, the application must be received by the District Clerk the day prior to the vote.

If you are not registered to vote for School District Elections and the general elections, please visit the office of the School's District Clerk or any school building main office during their regular business hours to register - last day for voter registration is 5 days before the vote - May 15th.
