Kirra Murphy is a finalist for the Roger Rees Award for Outstanding Performer in a Musical. In early May, Kirra and Matthew Gennings attended a preliminary competition. They received the highest scores from the outstanding cast of actors from "Mamma Mia!" The field was then narrowed down, and Kirra is moving on to the next round. She will spend the weekend of May 17-19 in New York City working with professional coaches and directors. This will culminate in a showcase on May 19, and a New York State winner will be chosen.
