Congratulations to West Babylon Junior High School seventh grade G’neiva Salas for being accepted to perform in the Long Island String Festival Association Suffolk Intermediate Festival. LISFA is the premier organization for young emerging string players and string educators in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Each year, they host an All-County festival consisting of the most talented students in Long Island school orchestra programs. Students are nominated by their orchestra teacher and selected by a LISFA selection committee. The LISFA Suffolk Intermediate Festival will be held Jan. 19-21 at Commack Middle School.
