Students at South Bay Elementary School had a special visit from Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer on Oct. 26. The student council members who met with Mr. Schaffer are preparing for their upcoming election and working on their campaign speeches. Schaffer spoke to the students about his political career, what it’s like being in politics, how he prepares for speeches and some tips for running for election.
