To celebrate National Take Your Teddy Bear to Work/School Day, the second graders in Ms. LoSardo’s class at South Bay Elementary School treated their stuffed animals to a full day of academics on Oct. 11. Students began the day by reading to their bears. For their math lessons, students measured their bears, created word problems and made a graph. Lastly, the second graders wrote stories describing their bears using different adjectives.
