West Babylon Junior High School has dozens of clubs for students in all grades to connect with peers. The art club meets weekly; one day for sixth grade students and another for seventh and eighth graders. The club is currently working on vision boards and has completed projects such as origami, scratch art and shells/rock art this year. Another club option for students who love to write is the newspaper club. Open to all grades, these students conduct interviews and create the content for the online winter and spring editions of the school’s newspaper.
