On Tuesday, May 16, as part of the budget vote, residents within the West Babylon School District will be asked to authorize the establishment of a capital reserve fund in an amount not to exceed $20 million over ten years if approved by voters. The reserve is being established to fund future capital improvements throughout the district. Attached are a few questions about a capital reserve and its purpose.
