The gardening club at John F. Kennedy Elementary School is hard at work. During their first meeting, they explored seeds from a pumpkin. The students scooped, washed and dried the seeds to prepare for planting. They will be bringing seeds home to plant in their own gardens. The club tasted roasted pumpkin seeds to show that every part of the pumpkin is important. John F. Kennedy Elementary School students are looking forward to participating in indoor and outdoor planting activities as well as garden crafts this school year.
