The West Babylon School District officially celebrated the completion of renovations to the West Babylon Junior High School athletic complex with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Oct. 2, marking an exciting investment in improved athletic spaces for students. District administration, board of education members and student-athletes were on hand for the occasion.

The project included the reconstruction and reconfiguration of the tennis, basketball and handball courts, along with drainage improvements and other related site enhancements. New seating areas were installed as well to allow flexible seating spaces for students and community members. The upgrades are designed to strengthen safety, modernize athletic spaces and better support student programs, providing students with improved facilities for competition, physical education and extracurricular activities.
