Tooker Fourth Graders Promote Kindness

In recognition of P.S. I Love You Day on Feb. 13, fourth grade students at Tooker Avenue Elementary School took part in activities focused on self-love, kindness and spreading positivity throughout the school community.
Students created “self-love jars” filled with paper hearts, each containing words of encouragement and examples of how they show love and appreciation for themselves. The activity encouraged students to reflect on positive self-talk and the importance of recognizing their own strengths.
In addition, students created “kindness grams” to spread joy around the building. Each student selected two special staff members and wrote a note filled with kind words and gratitude to thank them for all they do for the school community.
These meaningful activities helped reinforce the message of P.S. I Love You Day by promoting empathy, appreciation and positive connections among students and staff.
