Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign held each year to raise awareness about drug prevention in our communities. On Oct. 24, John F. Kennedy Elementary School kicked off Red Ribbon Week by having a virtual ceremony. Students wore red to symbolize Red Ribbon Week and their commitment to living a drug-free lifestyle. Students stood and took the pledge by repeating after John F. Kennedy Principal Ms. Van Liew. Students participated in a week of special activities to celebrate this cause.
