More than 60 years of tradition was on full display as West Babylon Senior High School hosted its annual Blue & Gold competition from April 11-13. This year’s battle was superheroes and villians vs. horror movies. The stands were packed in a sea of blue and gold as the community came out in full force to support their favorite school color. The student-artists showed off their creativity as the school’s gymnasium was transformed into a work of art. The members of the props team showed off their skills, while the dance routines and choreography showcased the high level of talent. Following their entrances, each team showed off their routines with calisthenics, lyrical, hip-hop and marching performances. With three sold-out performances, the annual Blue and Gold awards more than $10,000 in student scholarships annually.
