This summer, the district’s elementary school students participated in Camp Invention, housed at the Junior High School. As a culminating activity, Ms. Rainis and Ms. Eichiner collaborated to host a “Shark Tank” competition on Aug. 18. Summer school principal Denisha Van Liew and assistant principal Anthony Montemarano –along with two student judges – listened to the creative ideas of student inventors. They viewed their prototypes and asked questions before deciding what group would receive an investment from the “sharks.”
