Mystery, Music and Murder: ‘Curtains’ Hits the Senior High School Stage

West Babylon Senior High School’s music department and drama club presented the musical comedy “Curtains” on Feb. 5, 6 and 7 in the school’s Performing Arts Center.
“Curtains” is a hilarious whodunit set in 1959, combining mystery, comedy and classic Broadway-style music. When a leading lady is mysteriously murdered during the opening night of a new musical, a detective who happens to be a musical theater fan takes on the case. The result is a fast-paced and entertaining story filled with showstopping songs, colorful characters and plenty of twists and turns.
The production featured a talented cast and crew, supported by the school’s music and drama staff. Students have spent months rehearsing, building sets, designing costumes and preparing for the performances.
