Students at Santapogue Elementary School are demonstrating the true spirit of giving this Thanksgiving season through a schoolwide food drive to support local families in need. In addition, first graders have been learning about the importance of kindness, generosity and community spirit. As part of their lessons, the first grade classes are conducting their own Thanksgiving food drive, collecting items that will be donated to members of the community. Through these efforts, students are gaining a deeper understanding of what it means to give back and support others, showing that even the smallest hands can make a big difference.
