Dr. Carlos Falcon has been appointed as principal of West Babylon Junior High School, effective April 25.

Dr. Falcon comes to West Babylon from the Northport-East Northport School District, where he has served as an assistant principal at Northport High School as well as the family and consumer sciences chairperson since 2019. Prior to that, Dr. Falcon worked as an assistant principal in Longwood Middle School from 2016-2019.

Dr. Falcon holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Albany and a master’s degree from Stony Brook University. He received his doctorate in school leadership and administration from St. John’s University.

"I am humbly honored and feel incredibly fortunate to be named the new principal of the junior high school,” said Dr. Falcon. “It is abundantly clear that the community of West Babylon values education and continually seeks to provide engaging and meaningful opportunities for all of its students. I am looking forward tolearning the culture,meeting new people, and working alongside all of the stakeholders in the community to continue to build upon all of the dynamic things that are being done here at West Babylon Junior High School to support students.”
