On Feb. 4, one of West Babylon’s Science Olympiad teams competed at Princeton University in New Jersey in preparation for their upcoming state competition. This was the first time a team from West Babylon has competed at this tournament. Schools from neighboring states including Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania competed at the Ivy League school. Though they did not medal at Princeton, the students had the unique experience of competing at one of the most prestigious universities in the country. Congratulations to the following team members: Tyler Lejman, Taylor Weber, Justina Stasiak, Julia Jakubisiak, Ryan Marvin, Kai Miller, Cole Bricker, John Gorczynski, Ella Simonson, Rosalin Watras, Anthony Rex, Nhu Nguyen, Zuzanna Obrycki, George Cooke and Will Horowitz.
