Senior High School student-athlete Lacey Downey has been recognized with a News 12 LI Scholar Athlete award. Downey is a three-sport athlete (field hockey, basketball and lacrosse) and is headed to Boston College on a lacrosse scholarship next fall. She is top in her academic class and an all-around leader. Lacey also received a $1,000 scholarship from Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
