In recognition of November as Native American Heritage month, the students at South Bay Elementary School learned about Native American culture. Working with library media specialist Kara Levy, enrichment students worked in teams and read about different types of traditional Native American homes. They picked the one they found the most interesting. The students were given a variety of materials to try to recreate the home, adding as many details as they could before they shared their structures with the rest of the class.
