Senior High School junior Ronan Flynn has been named one of the top 50 finalists for the Roger Rees Awards, a competition that recognizes excellence in musical theater productions in high schools. Flynn was chosen for his portrayal of Lumiere in “Beauty and the Beast” this past February.Flynn, along with 25 other high school females and 24 males, will attend coaching sessions in New York City with Broadway producers, casting and musical directors in mid-May to prepare material. The 50 students will then be narrowed down to 12 and then a male and female winner will be chosen.
