West Babylon High School
Driver's Education

Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:

We are happy to inform you that we will be resuming our fall Driver Education program. The program will be available to Juniors and Seniors, and will begin September 23rd, 2021.

Due to the restrictions of COVID-19 and the guidance from the New York State Education Department, there will be some changes to our program. The “in-car” driving instruction will now be provided by a parent or guardian who holds a valid N.Y.S. driver’s license. A copy of this driver’s license, along with any additional forms we provide will need to be completed prior to starting the program. Driving hours will need to be documented and verified in writing by the students’ parent or guardians in order to receive a certificate at the end of the program. The lecture classes will take place at the West Babylon Senior High School on Thursdays from 6:00PM-7:30PM (Session 1) and 7:30PM-9:00PM (Session 2).

These changes to the Drivers’ Education program will provide you with a significant savings, as there is no fee from the Driving School. Applications are available in the West Babylon High School Main Office and will be accessible on our website under the Drivers’ Education link.

We look forward to our partnership and the opportunity to continue to provide our Juniors and Seniors with the Drivers’ Education program!

Mr. Vincent Fiore
Assistant Principal
