  Superintendent’s Website Message

If you're reading this message, I’m going to assume you have some type of interest in the West Babylon School District.  Therefore, please accept my sincere welcome to our fine community.  Some of you may be parents or guardians whose children will soon begin their education in our system, and are therefore interested in our educational philosophy and program offerings.  You might also be a prospective employee looking for an employment opportunity here.  Or, perhaps you may be a prospective resident wanting to learn more about our community.  No matter what brings you to this website, you will soon learn that West Babylon really does not have a “Main Street”.  Our Main Street is the West Babylon School District Community – our central hub.

You will soon realize that West Babylon is a very special place.  Those who work in the district strive to offer the community and its students the very best level of service.  I am confident that as you explore the district’s numerous services and activities, you will be impressed.  Moreover, I believe that the core curriculum, electives, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities we have in place will enable our youngsters to maintain a healthy balance between academic commitment and participation in other important school related pursuits.

As your superintendent, I personally welcome you to what I believe will be a rewarding 2010-11 school year.  Feel free to contact me if I can be of assistance to you throughout the year.  You may reach me at 376-7002 or e-mail me at acacciola@wbschools.org

Sincerely,
Anthony Cacciola
Superintendent of Schools
