THE 2017-2018 BUDGET VOTE AND TRUSTEE ELECTION WILL BE HELD ON TUESDAY, MAY 16, 2017 voting hours are from 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

There will be 3 vacant seats on the Board of Education and the Trustee up for Re-Election are:

Raymond Downey, Jr., Cathy Gismervik, Jennifer Longo


Nominating Petitions are available in February of 2017.

Voters living South of Sunrise Highway vote in the Board Room of the Administration Bldg. at 10 Farmingdale Road, West Babylon.

Voters living North of Sunrise Highway vote in Santapogue School at 1130 Herzel Blvd. West Babylon.

VOTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION

If you wish to vote in New York State (for both general and local elections) you must be registered to vote no later than 25 days before the election. Below is the link to the NYS Board of Elections registration form. Complete the form and return it to your county’s Board of Election office to register (for Suffolk County the address is: PO Box 700 Yaphank, NY 11980.

You must be a United States Citizen, at least 18 years old, you cannot be in prison or on parole for a felony conviction, and not claim the right to vote elsewhere.

Registering to vote in New York State also entitles you to vote in the School District Budget Vote and Trustee Election.

If you wish to register for School District Elections and not for the general elections, please visit the office of the School's District Clerk or any school building main office during their regular business hours to register - last day for voter registration is 5 days before the election. This year the last day to register is May 11, 2017. You must be a United States Citizen, at least 18 years old, not be in prison or on parole for a felony conviction, and not claim the right to vote elsewhere. In addition, you must be a resident of the district for at least 30 days prior to the vote.
