Junior High School student Sarah-Grace Thompson won third place in the Town of Babylon Veterans Awareness Week essay contest. In addition to winning a gift card for her submission, Thompson was recognized on Nov. 1 in a ceremony at Babylon Town Hall where she had the opportunity to read her essay.
