How many high school assemblies feature BMX bike riders jumping over the school’s principal? That’s exactly what happened when the ASA High School Tour, sponsored by the U.S. Marines, visited the Senior High School on Oct. 18.

The school assembly focused on the messages of antibullying. The X-Games professionals and their stunts were the highlight but their goal of the assembly was to hook the audience by using the action sports athletes to promote bullying prevention advocacy to teens. X-Games professionals showed off their skills and high-flying stunts on their skateboards and BMX bikes during the assembly in the school’s gymnasium.

Several of the world’s top skateboard and BMX pros performed half-pipe and box jump exhibitions while providing students with valuable bullying information and techniques.
