Junior High School sixth grade art students learned about graphic design and the graphic arts industry. Mary Famoso-Rueda, West Babylon resident and graphic designer, visited with sixth grade art classes for presentations on Oct. 17 and 18. She introduced students to graphic design and its presence in visual culture in our everyday lives. Mrs. Rueda also presented and discussed her own work. Students were fortunate to see behind the scenes of graphic design as a profession and learn about how the graphic design industry has changed in recent years.
