Kindergarten at JFK went to White Post Farms to learn about a plant's life cycle. The students were part of a demonstration and discussion on how soil is made and how a seed grows into a flowering plant. Each child had a hands on experience in which they planted a seedling and got to bring it home and watch it blossom into a flower. The children also hand fed many animals including goats, sheep, llamas, and camels. Fun was had by everyone!
