Cenahi Smith, a fourth-grader at Forest Avenue, has been named the grand-prize winner for her poster in the Bully Prevention Poster Contest held by Child Abuse Prevention Services.

CAPS received more than 800 submissions of posters and poems for the upcoming 2016-2017 calendar. Smith’s winning poster will be featured in the April position, which represents National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The calendar will be available at the end of the summer and is distributed to all elementary schools and libraries on Long Island.
