First-graders across the district are fine-tuning their writing skills with pen pals in other district elementary schools. Lisa DeGennaro’s class from JFK and Laura Fitzgerald’s class from Tooker Avenue are practicing their writing craft as they compose letters to their pen pals. The students are eager to hear back from their fellow first-graders.
