The Junior High School Student Council held its annual Battle of the Baskets. The battle consists of homerooms receiving a breakfast, lunch or dinner list. The battle is to see which homeroom completes the basket first. The staff members donate the gift cards so the families can buy meat and produce.

This year, 12 families were in need of assistance for the holidays. The school was able to collect enough donations to make a breakfast, lunch and dinner basket for each family to get them through the holiday season.
