Reilly Schmidt, a student at Forest Avenue Elementary School, received third place in the Town of Babylon Department of Environment Control’s Waterways Poster Contest. The poster contest was designed to raise awareness of plastic litter entering the waterways. Schmidt’s poster will be made into a metal sign that will be displayed at one of the Town of Babylon beaches.
