Students in Kara Levy’s library class at South Bay Elementary School in the West Babylon School District read “The Magical Yet” during the first week of school. The classes discussed all of the things they can’t do yet but know they eventually will, such as taking off their masks, and giving friends a high five. The students conducted a walking rainbow experiment to showcase a goal that they had to work toward and have patience to achieve.
