South Bay Celebrates Uniqueness for Dot Day

South Bay Celebrates Uniqueness for Dot Day thumbnail176613
South Bay Elementary School students in the West Babylon School District celebrated Dot Day on Sept. 16. Each year, the classes celebrate the story of “The Dot” by Peter Reynolds during their library classes with media specialist Kara Levy. This year, students were given eight dot stickers and five index cards and had to make a creative structure with them. Each structure was different, unique, and wonderful, which is exactly what the book celebrates.
