The West Babylon School District came together on the evening of May 28 for a senior parade to celebrate the graduating Class of 2020. Although this year’s celebrations and end-of-year activities may look a bit different, the pride and joy of the West Babylon community in the soon-to-be graduates was overwhelming.

Senior High School staff, teachers, administrators and Board of Education members were joined by staff and teachers from the West Babylon School District community. Each elementary school also was represented so students had the opportunity to see some familiar faces from their earlier school years.

The school district community lined the sidewalks to provide a thundering of applause and congratulations – holding their signs high for all to see – as the members of the senior class drove through the high school parking lot. Students showed their West Babylon pride as they sported blue and gold and decorated their cars in the school colors.
