Five Senior High School DECA members – Michael Capriola, Sabrina Catapano, Olivia Golebiewski, Megan Le and Emily Villarreal – competed at the annual New York State DECA Career Conference from Feb. 26-28 in Rochester. The students competed against more than 1,900 students from across the state. Students who competed at this state conference had to qualify at the regional level in January.
Olivia won a top 19 medal in her category, travel and tourism team and Megan was recognized on stage as a new member of the DECA Honor Society. The DECA adviser is Colleen Kilgus.
