Tooker Avenue Elementary School showed they were up for the challenge for this year’s St. Baldrick’s fundraiser in March. The staff and students of Tooker joined forces with the dstrict as a whole to raise money for childhood cancer research. Members of the Tooker Avenue staff and student body helped raise money and awareness for childhood cancers; some shaved their heads, some wore shirts, and others participated in a virtual 5K/1mile run/walk. Tooker Avenue raised $10,291, contributing to the district's total of $29,627.
