During a language and math lesson, students in Mrs. Belpanno’s kindergarten class at Forest Avenue Elementary School surveyed staff members and asked: “Do you want the groundhog to see its shadow?” The students collected data on the staff members’ responses and then graphed the data to determine if the staff wanted six more weeks of winter or an early spring.
