Fifty students from the Senior High School competed in the Suffolk County DECA Regional competition on Jan. 9. Megan Le and Olivia Golebiewski placed first in the Travel and Tourism Team.

The following students also received awards in their respective categories: Anthony Comparato (Principles of Hospitality and Tourism); Natalia Niebrzydowski (Entrepreneurship Team Event); Georgia DiVisconti (Entrepreneurship Team Event) Michael Golebiewaki (Hospitality Services Team Event); Camilo Brown-Pinilla (Hospitality Services Team); Michael Capriola (Marketing Management Team); Sabrina Catapano (Marketing Management Team); Ella Henson (Apparel and Accessories Marketing); Emily Villarreal (Quick Serve Restaurant Management); Kallynah Olsen (Restaurant and Food Management); and Charles Grahofke (Sport and Entertainment Marketing).
