A Message From Mr. Bianco

My name is Henry Bianco, Transportation Supervisor for the West Babylon School District. I started working for the district in 1980 as a part-time custodian while in my senior year of High School. Upon graduation, I became a full time custodian. In 1981, I became a mechanic in the Transportation Department. In 1990, I was promoted to Head Mechanic. Several years later, I was promoted to School Bus Dispatcher and I was asked to manage the Transportation Department. In 2006, I took the test to become a Transportation Supervisor. The district has since changed my title.

I am a long time resident of West Babylon. I attended this school district for my K-12 education. My wife and our seven children have also attended this school system or are still attending school here. I take a great deal of pride in my job responsibilities, and I look forward to serving this community as the Transportation Supervisor for many years to come.
