The Senior High School held its New York State Business and Marketing and National Technology honor societies induction ceremonies on Dec. 14.
To qualify for either of these honor societies, sophomores and juniors must have a minimum of two units of business/marketing education or technology education coursework, and seniors must have three units of business/marketing education or technology education coursework.
In addition, the student must maintain a GPA of 88 in business/marketing education or technology education course as well as a minimum overall GPA of 80. All Business and Marketing or Technology Honor Society candidates must also demonstrate good character, leadership qualities and service to their school and/or community.
This year’s Business and Marketing Honor Society inductees were: Robert Aguanno; Zach Babary; Jennifer Bonilla; Rocco Longo; Christopher Martocci; Vincenzo Martucci; William Marvin; Michael McAlvin; Michael McMahon; Michael Meo; Alexis Oliver; Grace Rosati; Matt Seibert and Jack VanDoran.
National Technology Honor Society inductees included: Hannah Aebli; Gabriella Catozzi; Irwin Chugh; Kyle Chugh; Matthew Downey; Audriy Fosfakovskyy; Sophia Mandich; Jaclyn Mazza; Sharjeel Owais; Andrew Pastore; David Rakowski; Colin Reiff; Rehan Satti; Meghan Smolenski; Dominic Sora; Bryce Trama; Kacper Tworogolski; and Emily Welliver.
