There are plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables coming right from the Junior High School. The school’s Garden Club grows and maintains an organic vegetable garden every year.

The club takes care of 16 raised beds where they grow tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, corn, eggplant, various beans, peppers, squash, blackberries, raspberries, onions, garlic, herbs and sunflowers. The Garden Club planted most of the vegetables in the spring and members came to school once a week over the summer to harvest the vegetables, weed and maintain the raised beds. Most of the produce from their garden is donated to the local food pantry and students also get to take fresh vegetables home.
