Students at Forest Avenue recently participated in Assemblyman Joseph Saladino’s Valentines for Vets program. Every student created a handmade Valentine’s Day card for the local brave men and women who serve our country. These Valentine’s Day cards were filled with heartfelt thanks and appreciation for our veterans’ service, sacrifice and commitment to preserving our country’s rights and freedoms.
