Dressed in purple to show their support of one another, Senior High School students celebrated Acceptance/P.S. I Love You Day on Feb. 12.
Guest speaker Gian Paul Gonzales kicked off the day with his inspirational “all in” speech, telling students to give 100 percent of themselves in everything they do. Students were given poker chips to write their inspirational message on, to either give out to a classmate or keep as a reminder to be accepting to all.

Throughout the day, students participated in a variety of activities designed to develop positive social-emotional learning characteristics. Peer educators, a select group of students who are trained throughout the year, facilitated the day's activities. Students signed an Acceptance Day banner, pledging to remain judgment free.
