Congratulations to West Babylon seniors Luis Alvarado-Rodriguez and Melanie Wolff, who are also enrolled in Western Suffolk BOCES’ Wilson Tech Program, for placing first in the Huntington Chamber of Commerce’s annual Business Leadership Competition. The two-member advertising and graphic design team competed for Wilson Tech against 350 entries from across Long Island and won for their creative logos, professional branding concepts and poise.

Luis and Melanie were tasked with designing a brand identity for Vammia, a fictitious new upscale women’s clothing company geared to ages 18-30, and presenting their design scheme to Long Island business leaders.
