Santapogue Elementary School third-grade students in Christina Kelskey and Cara Kerr’s class performed skits for family, staff and peers during the Fable Festival. The festival culminated a unit of study on Aesop’s fables in which students wrote their own fables, creating fictitious characters and morals for their stories.
Some of the skits performed during the Fable Festival included “The Goose Who Laid the Golden Egg,” “The Hare and the Tortoise,” “The Lion’s Share” and “The Boy Who Went into the River.”
