Juniors Anika Chowdhury and Jared Martino competed in the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair held at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury on Feb. 23. Their joint project explored the cognitive and academic benefits of bilingualism and multilingualism in adolescence.

LISEF is an annual competition in which the most advanced high school students can present their science and engineering research to professionals from local universities and scientific institutions.

The district congratulates Anika and Jared on this accomplishment.
