Forest Avenue students celebrated their love of the written word during the school’s annual Parents As Reading Partners kickoff. This PTA-sponsored extravaganza is a student favorite with activities throughout the week focusing on reading, such as Community Reader Day, Pajama Night and the cultural arts program, the Squeaky Clean Band.

On Community Reader Day, local community leaders and valued members of the community read their favorite books to students. The Forest Avenue administration would like to thank the following individuals for taking time out of their busy schedules to read to students:
