Student Council Stands Up to Bullying

Student council members at South Bay are taking a stand against bullying. Twenty-seven fifth-grade members created posters to display in the cafeteria and around the building to promote being an upstander, someone who takes the opportunity to make their community a better place. The students’ efforts were a response to a recent assembly on the topic of bullying and members plan on engaging in activities throughout the school year to prevent bullying at South Bay.
