Prior to the start of the 2014-2015 academic year, West Babylon Junior High School held its annual Sixth-Grade Parent and Student Visit to help ease the incoming students’ transition into junior high school. Under the direction of sixth-grade teacher Julia Powers and National Junior Honor Society adviser Tara Limperatos, 22 tour guides, many of whom were National Honor Society members, showed incoming students and their parents the physical layout of the school. Administrators and staff were also on hand to answer questions and address concerns.
