First-grade students in Ms. Lauricella’s class at South Bay Elementary School learned about the importance of breakfast during a presentation by Jeannette Frabizio, district food service director, and Mary Payan, South Bay cook. Not only did the students learn that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, they learned about foods that will fuel their bodies and help them learn. After the presentation, the students were able to sample some delicious breakfast treats.
